HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE...
The Crain Family Foundation and Magical Builders (501c3) have partnered to renovate the Chrysalis transitional housing facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Crain Family Foundation was founded by retired MLB All-Star Jesse Crain and his wife Becky to assist families and children experiencing financial hardship. Magical Builders was formed to assist underprivledged children and their communities, which it has done over the last 17 years by supporting dozens of renovation projects throughout the country for other nonprofit organizations serving children, families, veterans and others in need. With the generous support of The Crain Family Foundation, the Magical Builders renovation of the Chrysalis facility will consist of new flooring, kitchen remodel, replacement of playground equipment, landscaping, new paint, common area improvements and other important upgrades. The Chrysalis facility was originally built in 1988 as a shelter and was converted in 2011 to five dorm style apartments with a community kitchen. The facility has been in constant use since its opening, and the much-needed renovation from The Crain Family Foundation and Magical Builders will provide critical support for the needs of the families it serves.
Chrysalis is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive resources and support for families impacted by domestic violence. The transitional housing facility serves as a vital tool, whereby families can receive a safe home, economic advocacy, needs assistance, case management, legal assistance and other vital services for up to two years.
In addition to the Chrysalis project, The Crain Family Foundation and Magical Builders are collaborating on future nonprofit renovation projects in Arizona, California, Minnesota and other communities throughout the country!
