OUR MISSION

WHAT WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT...

The Crain Family Foundation is passionate about assisting families and children who are in financial hardship due to unforeseen life events.  We want to help these families and children have experiences and help to alleviate the financial burden as it relates to education, sports and extracurriculars as well as medical issues.

ABOUT

ABOUT THE CRAIN FAMILY

HOW IT ALL GOT STARTED...

Jesse and Becky met in high school in the town of Boulder, Co where they both were raised.  They moved to Austin, TX to attend college (Jesse at University of TX, Becky at Texas State University in San Marcos).  Jesse transferred to Houston where he was on full scholarship and was the starting shortstop and closing pitcher for San Jacinto Junior College. He then transferred to the University of Houston on scholarship and was named All American Short Stop his Junior Year and was also their closer.  Becky and Jesse continued their relationship though Becky stayed in Austin continuing her college education, working and coaching competitive soccer.

Jesse was drafted by the Minnesota Twins after his junior year of college.  Becky and Jesse were married in 2004 while he was making his way through the minor league system of the Minnesota Twins.  They would go on to have 3 healthy, happy, and beautiful children.  Hunter (10), Avery (8), and Caleb (5).  The kids keep Becky and Jesse busy as they are all involved in multiple activities including ice hockey, flag football, Little League Baseball, basketball, gymnastics and drum lessons.  Though they reside in Scottsdale, AZ now, they spend a great amount of time visiting their family and enjoying time at their home in Boulder, CO when they can.  They love to travel as a family and feel very fortunate for all that Jesse's career has provided and all of the love and support over the years from their friends, family and fans.

MOST RECENT EVENT | CHIP IN FORE COLORADO | FEB 2022

Video credit: Matt Chavez

Nearly 1,000 homes were destroyed and hundreds more were severely damaged in the recent wildfires that tore through Superior Colorado.  There is nothing that leaves a family  feeling more vulnerable than when home is no longer their safe space.  Nearly 35,000 people have been displaced and we want to do something tangible about it.

We cannot say thank you enough to all of you who have given so generously to not only provide a day of fun to the families, first responders and community members who watched their towns burn down, but also help raise funds so Crain Family Foundation can help with the rebuild process. This will take time…we will be here to help how we can!

Again, THANK YOU to our sponsors, family and friends who make it possible for our family to do what we love…. give back to the communities that need our help.

WE'RE SO EXCITED

TO CHANGE LIVES WITH YOU
